Credentials and Training Michael A. Werner, MD is a board-certified urologist who received his specialized fellowship training in male infertility and surgery and male sexual dysfunction at Boston University Medical Center. He lectures and writes extensively on these topics in medical journals and books.

Dr. Werner completed his Urology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and received his medical school training at the University of California at San Francisco. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard College. Dr. Werner's private practice is limited to male infertility and male sexual dysfunction.

I strongly believe that you need to have a complete understanding of the medical options available to you. Similarly, I need to be fully aware of your unique personal situation and priorities. Together, we will decide on the course of treatment that makes the most medical and personal sense for you.

In addition to regular office hours, appointments are available for early morning and evening. Dr. Werner can also be reached by phone for any questions you may have regarding your condition or treatment.

Emergency Care
The office should be contacted immediately with any urgent problem. After office hours, a service will notify Dr. Werner, and he will call you back immediately. In a true medical emergency, you should go to the nearest emergency room where they will begin treatment and contact Dr. Werner.

Fees and Payment Procedures
The practice works hard to keep your medical costs down. Many of the services performed or prescribed are at least partially covered by insurance. The staff will be glad to help you in submitting your insurance forms and will work hard to maximize your reimbursement.

Referring Physicians
Our office takes pride in communicating promptly, thoroughly, and frequently with the other professionals involved in your care. In many situations, our office will need to coordinate your care, and it is our commitment that we will do so efficiently, thoroughly, and confidently.
